Zero VOC Epoxy coatings based on HiBond 7012 epoxy resin and UV hardener are extremely durable. A steel beam coated with HiBond 7012 epoxy coating was exposed to salt water and salt air for 2 years. The HiBond 7012 epoxy coating was applied at a thickness of only 0.3 mm. After two years, the steel beam under the clear coating was still completely protected, not only from salt corrosion but also from paint, graffiti and dirt. Simply washing with water will maintain a clean, worry free surface.

HiBond 7012 Epoxy coatings have excellent adhesion to metal, wood, paper, concrete and other substrates. This coating will protect against rust, salt, or other corrosions as well as acting as a water repellant. Optional fire retardants can be added.
