HiBond ELO is all natural and no VOC. HiBond ELO is used in paints, plasticizers, adhesives, coatings or in any application for an epoxidized oil.

HiBond epoxidized linseed oil is based on an all natural oil, HiOmega^® linseed oil. This all natural oil contains 70 % alpha linolenic acid (C18:3). This is at least 30 % more linolenic acid than other linseed oils. The high linoleic content provides more double bonds available for epoxidation. Thus, HiBond epoxidized linseed oil has a higher than average oxirane value. HiBond ELO will provide greater strength, greater resistance to solvents and faster drying times than other epoxidized natural linseed oils.

LEEDS Points

HiBond ELO is eligible for LEEDS points as a rapidly renewable resource, a no-VOC alternative to other epoxidized oils and in some cases as a local resource.
