Instructions for Adhesives

Components in both Part A - HiBond ELO and Part B - Hardener can settle to the bottom of the package during storage and shipping. It is important to stir Part A and Part B before mixing together.

Step 1: Stir Part A for 1 - 3 minutes @ 300 RPM. Invert or shake the container vigorously to ensure any particles which have settled to the bottom of the container are resuspended in the solution.

Step 2: Stir Part B for 1 - 3 minutes @ 300 RPM. Invert or shake the container vigorously to ensure any particles which have settled to the bottom of the container are resuspended in the solution.

Step 3: Mix or blend Part A and Part B together in the ratio indicated on spec sheet for 1 - 3 minutes. For example, Polar 4640 Green Cork Epoxy is blended as 3 parts Part A and 1 part Part B. The spec sheet for your product will specify the mixing ratio.

Step 4. Optional. If you are using a Part C filler such as gravel, sand, recycled rubber etc., add the Part C to the blended Part A + Part B mixture. Stir until filler is evenly coated or distributed in the mixture. The amount of Part C filler added depends on your particular application and can be adjusted to suit your needs. The adhesive is now ready to use.
